The Lake Yard Paddleboarding Club will strike out from Lake Yard Marina with Dave from the Watersports Academy at 6pm and will return by 7:30pm (weather permitting).

Stuck for what to get Aunty Muriel for Christmas? Is your sister-in-law the most difficult person ever to buy presents for? Need to get the slightly over-sweaty man in Accounts something for Secret Santa this year?

Then pop along to the Lake Yard Christmas Market taking place on Saturday December 1st between 10am and 4pm. We’ll have a variety of mixed market and craft stalls all eager to show over their festive wares. Silver jewellery, gardening items, cards, prints, paintings, crafts and models: ideal presents from big to small. Also available will be children’s knitwear, recycled furniture, food hampers and vegan friendly nail polish (well, that’s what it says here). And just so your really important loved ones aren’t left out, there’s also a dog biscuits stall.

The Club Bar will also be open with something warm and spicy gently mulling no doubt along with hot food and snacks. It’s free entry so come along and support some local businesses and get your stockings filled to boot!
