Burns Night at Lake Yard
Friday 25th January
Fair fa’ your honest, sonsie face, Great Chieftain o’ the Puddin-race!
Aboon them a’ ye tak your place, Painch, tripe, or thairm:
Weel are ye wordy of a grace As lang’s my arm.
No, not another independence speech from Nicola Sturgeon but the famous Address to a Haggis by the national poet of Scotland, Robbie Burns. Join us at Lake Yard on the Bard of Ayrshire’s celebrated birthdate on Friday 25th January from 9.30pm for a Burns Night to remember.
If you’re a member, we’re offering a two course meal for £20 and a three course meal for £25; non members pay an extra £2 per option. There will of course be the traditional Haggis served with neeps & tatties and the odd dram (or two) of your favourite scotch.
Local Bournemouth duo The Rock & Blues Company (aka Danny McClafferty and Steve Marshall) will be providing their buoyant brand of live music.
